SUDBURY AND DISTRICT CHIROPRACTIC SOCIETY MEETING The art, philosophy and science of chiropractic were front and center at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Sudbury, Ontario on the weekend of October 13-14, 2007. Over 40 doctors and CHAs were treated to a riveting 2-day presenta- tion by Dr. Gilles Lamarche on the art and philosophy of chiropractic care, with an emphasis on personal, patient and office management success ideas. The science aspect of the conference was aptly handled by Dr. Marshall Deltoff, who held an enjoyable half-day clinical radiology rounds session with the eager doctors. Special gratitude to conference organizer Dr. Michel Brosseau, president of the Sudbury and ANNUAL MARITIME CONVENTION – HALIFAX 2007 On the last weekend in October, the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors held its Annual Maritime Convention at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax. Organized by Drs. Wanda Lee MacPhee and Andrew Kleinknecht, this informative and fun conference featured various speakers including Ms Helena St. James, whose dynamic session on building powerful presentations inspired all to bring chiropractic into the community by developing effective public education seminars. PATHWAYS TO PRACTICE 2007 On September 28-29, 2007, the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) held their Pathways to Practice 2007 conference at the Westin Prince Hotel in Toronto. Canadian Chiropractor magazine was the official media sponsor for the event this year. The conference was a resounding success with resources, information, products and services to enhance any practice, as well as a line-up of outstanding speakers who offered professional perspectives on health- care in Canada.
