news WELCOMING OUR NEWEST EAB MEMBER Canadian Chiropractor is pleased to announce that Dr. Greg Stewart will be joining the editorial advisory board (EAB). Dr. Stewart received a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Manitoba in 1982 and graduated as a Doc-tor of Chiropractic from the CMCC in 1986. He currently runs St. Anne’s Road Chiropractic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has worked extensively with Canadian athletes and is a treatment provider for the Canadian Sports Centre. Dr. Stewart has served as president of the Manitoba Chi-ropractors’ Association (1994-97) and of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (2002-03) and has represented Canada and the North American region on the Council of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) since 2006. He currently serves as WFC first vice-president. Dr. Stewart has been awarded the Manitoba Chiropractors’ Associa-tion Outstanding Service Award (2006) and the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) Award of Merit (2006). He is now a Fellow of the CCA, having received the Medal of Merit, the CCA’s highest honour, in 2012. Dr. Stewart has served on provincial and national commit-tees, advocating on behalf of the profession in many areas, including the identity of the profession, government rela-tions, ethics, communications, interprofessional collabora-tion, chiropractic legislation, third party and government ser-vice negotiations, clinical practice guidelines, and research.
